Something for Everyone
Taekwondo
A version of an ancient form of unarmed combat. “Tae” meaning to jump, kick, or smash with the foot & “Kwon” meaning to punch or destroy with the hand or fist.
Taekwondo was originally developed to protect oneself and loved ones from those who would harm them.
In Taekwondo class you learn forms, step sparring, and free sparring techniques.
AGES 4 & older
Kyudo Renmei
Traditional Japanese archery.
You will learn how to effectively utilize the Japanese longbow as an individual archer, but also how to participate in group ceremonies, conduct yourself with proper ‘Reiho’ (courtesy and respect), and pursue a path of self improvement.
AGES 16 & older
Must be at least 5 feet tall due to the size of the bow
