On Saturday, November 16th we hosted a fundraiser for Boys on a Mission.
Boys on a Mission is a non-profit organization that is helping keep our homeless population fed and warm.
We will continue to accept donations for the boys at the Dojang until winter break [last day for drop off is December 20th].
Cash and coat donations can be dropped off at the front desk.
Coats can be used, in good condition.
Snow pants will also be accepted; really anything that will keep people warm this winter.
If you'd like PayPal information, please send us a message.
We are extremely proud of our students, Elijah and Matthias. Their enthusiasm and love for this project fills our hearts with joy! They embody the spirit of unity and community.
[Please read the note from their mom below]
Dear All,
I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support during Elijah and Matthias's first official event. Your participation, donations, and overall spirit truly made a difference.
We were overwhelmed by the generosity shown, collecting over 60 coats and raising nearly $4,648 for those in need. It’s a testament to the strength of our community and the shared values we hold dear.
A special thank you to Grandmaster Lonnie for her selfless dedication to teaching and uplifting our community. We’re excited to continue this journey together, providing food and warmth to those who need it most.
If you're interested in helping with the upcoming Shelter House protein pack assembly or coat deliveries, please let us know. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
With gratitude,
Meia Clark
